This past week I've bought some makeup items from various stores.

This is without curling my eyelashes or primer. Only one coat of mascara! I got the one for green eyes and i think its working? Raisin quartz, is a dark plum color, its supposed to make green eyes pop.

-Maybelline Shinylicious in caramella (hardly any color comes on, its really just a sheer tinted gloss)

-WonderFull Lip Plumping Gloss **(my favorite lip product out of this haul. it has a slight scent of cinnamon. i don't feel like it really plumps my lips, but i love the color. it has a long lasting power & stains your lips. Its not sticky at all in my opinion.)**

Rimmel Cool Matte 16Hr Mousse foundation in 101 porcelain

I've worn this twice and i cant say i really like this. Its okay that's about it. For being the second lightest color, i don't know why its so orangy..its name is deceiving. Also it has a scent to it, i can't really name the scent, but after i put it on my face i can't smell it. I'm pretty sure it doesn't last 16 hours either.

overall I'd give this foundation a 2:5

Weekend Haul

I have no self control :(

I told myself I wouldn't buy anymore makeup that wasn't on my wish list (which is about 10 things) and i caved. This is probably because once I get into Walgreens and see those little orange tags I get so excited and give in haha.






I actually got these earrings at the dollar store hehe

Prestige glitter liner. It has a tiny brush applicator. (im not good with those!) I have no idea why I bought this. I think it was the $1.59 price tag.

Jane Blush in Blushing Earth Sheer. $3.79 at Walgreens. Such a pretty coral pink with subtle shimmer.




Maybelline Blush in Rose Silk. $1.76 at KMart. Ive seen these on sale everywhere and finally realized it was because they changed the packaging to black which I saw at WalMart. Its a pretty pink with some minor shimmer. I seriously need to lay off the blushes.

I also bought two Prestige Wonderfull Lip Plumper for $1.59 each at Walgreens. I like these a lot. They have a little bit of sparkle in them and they have a nice semi tingly feeling that isnt overwhelming. Although I cant say my lips look any bigger. The pink color is called Chic and the brownish one is called Lavish. Even if they dont plump my lips they are still my favorite lip glosses because of the minor stickiness.


Eyebrow Shapers. $2.38 (i think) at WalMart. I am soooooo lazy when it comes to eyebrows and I hate plucking with a passion. Not only does it take too long but it kinda hurts. I also dont feel like spending $10 each week to wax them, nor do i trust myself enough to wax them. These things are okay. I know some of you may be scared youll mess up and shave off half your eyebrow but I'll tell you now that wont happen with this. Yes its a razor but its very tiny. It also doesnt cut off the hair on the first swipe which is a good thing in case you do hit the wrong spot. Its really good for getting those stray hairs above your eyebrow and underneath, not the really close ones to your normal shape if you get me. They actually dont pick up every hair and you need to go back tweeze buts its only a couple annoying hairs, so still a good buy. Plus they come with little caps so you can throw this in your purse.

Sally Girl eyeshadows. 99 cents at Sally Beauty Supply. I picked up Eggplant, Bark and Soft Pink. Well I actually already had Soft Pink but i thought Id include it to show you a greaaat tutorial using these eyeshadows.

Yeah she used Purple Haze but my Sallys didnt have that so i had to substitute. Mines a tad bit darker. These shadows are really great for 99 cents. They even connect together to make your own little compacts.

Anyhoo thats what I bought this weekend. Hope you enjoyed and buy yourself some eyebrow shapers ;)

Mint Julep Masque

Hey guys! So if you haven't heard all the buzz about the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque, im gonna tell you. I had to find out for my self. Its priced at $3.79 at Walgreens. Its very cheap for the great results i got.

It claims to:

help dry up acne pimples, rinse away blackheads & shrink enlarged pores.

I've been using this about twice a week for the past 3 weeks, and i've noticed a huge change in my skin. I always had a problem with tiny blackheads showing up around my nose. After using it ONCE i could literally see a difference and now i hardly have any left.

Before applying to face remember to take all of your makeup off, or it wouldn't be doing you any good. CAUTION: The mint julep masque has a tingly feeling. If burts bees chapstick bothers you, you might not want to use this. However, i feel like the minty tingly feeling leaves your face feeling flawless after.

This is a really big sized bottle for your buck. Its 8oz.
*the only draw back to this product is that its kind of hard to squeeze out. So what i do is squeeze a good size amount into my hand before i apply it onto my face. Then i dont have to worry about getting any on the container. *


IM THE HULK AHH! jk it looks like it though.

Maybelline Define-A-Lash

Okay so this weekend i got suckered into buy one get one free on Maybelline products so i decided to pick up the Define-A-Lash mascara I've been eyeing for months and the Chai Latte quad that has the prettiest neutrals for an easy everyday look. I believe i paid $8.19 at CVS which is expensive considering you can find this at Wal-Mart for about $7 but whatever i got a free eyeshadow quad :)

Anyhoo this is the most amazing mascara I've tried so far. I got the waterproof version in blackest black I think its called.



The tube is such a pretty bright green. The wand is really really flimsy. But I like that because it makes it easy to get those annoying corner lashes. Although I can see how it'd be easy to slip and get this on your face if youre not careful.

Here are some pictures. I was cursed with really straight short lashes but this makes my eyelashes long, holds a curl really well. It also doesnt clump THAT much. It doesnt do much for volume however :(

Left eye with no mascara: I know poor little lashes. Its like they dont even exist.

Overall I sayyyy 4/5. I would buy it again :) but not without trying more mascaras inbetween hehe

Bright Neutral Eyes

So I decided to play around with some makeup.

These eyes are pretty sparkly so I don't know if they're suitable for everyday but def. cute for a lunch or party. Plus I used only drugstore :O

And yes I know my eyeball is really red and veiny. Lack of sleep -_-

Merlot GRAPE SEED MOISTURIZER

Merlot GAPE SEED MOISTURIZER. I finally decided to try it after all the talk about it. Im a real bargain shopper most of the time, so at $14.99 (Walgreens) i wanted to try it, but didnt wanna waste 15 dollars to find out it was crap. I swear like every day im in walgreens buying something or another. Everytime i pass it, and i finally decided to try it, when i saw that it came with a little travel size one.

Travel size compared to my hand. Its a .5 fl oz. Its really small but like a perfect travel size at the same time. You really dont need to use alot at all, so the size isn't a problem. Its deffinitly enough to keep in your purse or to take on vacation. The good thing is, that when its empty you can just scoop some out of the normal size jar and put it in the travel one.
This is a 4 fl oz. Its a pretty big size.

Not surprsing the color is purple, well actually a light lavander color. However, when i smelled it, it didn't smell like grape at all. Not even a hint of grape. It doesn't smell bad or anything like that. To me it smells like a cross between baby shampoo and lavander.

This product, besides moisturizing claims to be good for anti-wrinkle and is SPF 15. It tells you to use it in the AM and PM alone or under makeup. So if you don't have makeup that has SPF in it, this is really good to use, as it functions as a dual product.

When i put the moisturizer on my face, after removing my makeup, i put about a quarter size amount and it ended up being too much. So i had to use the rest on my arms.

Pros:

its a good sized product.
i like how it comes with a travel size.
it will last you a long time becuase you hardly need to use any to get the job done. (when i was opening it i got the tinniest amount on my hands, and i was surprised at how moisturized my hands were)
It felt like it was soaking in to my skin, rather than just sitting on top of it.
It very smooth and when it dries its NOT sticky how some moisturizers can be.

Cons:

The only thing i can say is that i was expecting it to smell like grapes because of its name.

COACH BAG!

OMG! I'm so excited i finally got a new Coach purse. Today when i went to the store there was so many cute little purses to choose from. I was just picking up so many wishing i could get all of them. haha. So then i had to put them all back and look for something practical. No crazy bright colors. Because im not gonna lie, im lazy and im not gonna change my purse everyday to mach my outfit. Anyways, i was looking for something brown or black that would match my outfits everyday. I had the lady running around the store picking out purses. haha. There was so many pretty ones to choose from but i couldnt buy some of them because of #1 price! and #2 i like to have a long enough strap to fit over my shoulder. Eventually i ended up getting this one :]

Look at that mark down!! It was 428 originally but because it was an outlet store they sell them for cheaper, making it 409. Then how lucky did i get, that it got marked down yet agin. What a more affordable price....that is compared to the original price.

The inside of the bag has 2 compartment and a zipper pouch. It really spaceous if you like putting alot of things in it, like i do. This purse is a patchwork and the outside has different designs each with a different texture.

NYC Smooth Skin Loose Powder

I've read a looooooooooooooooot about this and decided to give this a try. Mostly because of the price. This loose powder comes in a huge jar and only costs about $2-$3. The powder claims to keep oil away for hours and give you a beautiful flawless skin finish. And I have to admit it really does. I put a little of this on top of my everydayminerals foundation and i looked airbrushed. No lie. Almost a little too perfect? Either way this kept me from getting shiney for about.....4 hours? and even then it was still VERY minimal. I would totally reccommend this to everyone. And if doesnt work out for you, you only lost a couple bucks.
